FintechOS Secures Microsoft AI Certification to Deliver Production-Grade AI for Banks and Insurers

FintechOS, an AI-focused company serving the financial services sector, has achieved the Microsoft Solutions Partner with Certified Software designation for Financial Services AI. The certification confirms that the newly launched FintechOS 8 platform meets Microsoft’s strict standards for interoperability, security architecture, governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise-level performance.

This certification marks an important milestone for FintechOS, highlighting its transition from a traditional financial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider to an AI-first organization. Over the past two years, the company has rebuilt its platform architecture around AI-driven operations instead of simply adding AI features to existing legacy systems. According to the company, these certified capabilities are critical for financial institutions that want to move beyond experimental AI pilot projects and deploy AI in fully regulated, production-level environments.

FintechOS worked closely with Microsoft over the past 18 months to align its platform with Microsoft Azure’s interoperability, security, and responsible AI standards. Teo Blidarus, CEO and co-founder of FintechOS, stated that AI in financial services must move beyond isolated pilot programs and become part of core business operations. He explained that FintechOS 8 introduces AI-driven Unified Product Operations, where financial products, workflows, governance, and artificial intelligence operate together within a single system. He added that Microsoft’s certification validates the maturity of the platform and the company’s focus on helping banks and insurers implement AI responsibly at scale.

Patrice Amann, Microsoft’s EMEA Regional Leader for Worldwide Financial Services, said that the certified software designation helps partners demonstrate proven capabilities in high-demand areas such as cloud-based financial solutions and enterprise AI systems.

Transforming Banking Origination

For banks, the FintechOS platform introduces a core-agnostic Unified Origination solution. Many banks and financial institutions currently operate multiple origination systems across different products and channels, which makes product updates slow and complex, often taking nine to twelve months. These inefficiencies can consume up to 25–30% of digital banking transformation budgets, and more than 60% of banks are now planning to consolidate their origination systems.

FintechOS addresses this issue by creating a reusable origination layer that connects product configuration, eligibility rules, pricing, workflow, and decision-making into a single governed process. AI is integrated directly into this process to automate data extraction, document processing, and decision workflows. The platform also enables advanced personalization and product bundling while maintaining regulatory compliance and human oversight where required.

Modernising Legacy Insurance Systems

FintechOS is also targeting the insurance industry with its AI-Fluent Core Modernization platform. Many insurers still rely on legacy Policy Administration Systems (PAS), where policy management, claims processing, billing, and servicing functions are tightly integrated into outdated core systems. As a result, even small changes can take months to implement and require specialized technical expertise.

Industry estimates show that 40–60% of insurance IT budgets are spent maintaining and updating these legacy systems, leaving limited resources for innovation and AI adoption. FintechOS solves this problem by externalizing product logic, workflows, decision systems, and servicing functions into a separate, composable operations layer. This layer can run alongside existing core systems and gradually take over core functions over time.

This architecture allows insurers to implement AI for tasks such as data ingestion, automated servicing decisions, and workflow orchestration without disrupting their existing core infrastructure.
